Meet Cute Club Code of Conduct

Meet Cute Club events exist so people can meet in a relaxed, genuine setting. That only works when everyone feels comfortable. By registering for or attending an event, you agree to the following.

What we ask of every guest

  • Be kind and respectful to everyone: other guests, staff, volunteers and our venue partners.

  • Treat "no" as a complete answer. If someone isn't interested in continuing a conversation or exchanging contact information, graciously move on.

  • Ask before you touch, hug or take a photo with someone.

  • Be honest about who you are and what you're looking for.

  • Drink responsibly and know your limits.

  • Respect our venue and its house rules.

What we don't tolerate

  • Harassment, unwanted physical contact or sexual comments

  • Continued attention after someone has said no or signaled disinterest, including contacting them after an event when they have declined

  • Discriminatory or demeaning remarks about someone's age, race, religion, gender, orientation, disability, appearance or relationship history

  • Aggressive, threatening or intimidating behavior

  • Photographing or recording guests who have asked not to be

  • Selling products, recruiting for a business or soliciting other guests

  • Sharing another guest's personal information without their permission

Reporting a concern
If something makes you uncomfortable, tell Eryn or a Meet Cute Club host at the event, or email
eryn@meetcuteclub.com afterward. Reports are taken seriously and handled discreetly.

Consequences
Meet Cute Club reserves the right to remove any guest from an event without a refund and to decline future registrations, at its sole discretion. We may issue a warning first, but we are not required to.

This code applies to all Meet Cute Club events, including those held at partner venues or with partner organizations.
